1. 1. 1. Parties and Grantor Information

   This Photo Release (the "Release") is granted on [DATE] by [GRANTOR NAME], residing or located at [GRANTOR ADDRESS], phone [GRANTOR PHONE], email [GRANTOR EMAIL] (the "Grantor"), to [RECIPIENT NAME], a [ENTITY TYPE OR INDIVIDUAL] located at [RECIPIENT ADDRESS] (the "Recipient"). 2. 2. 2. Description of the Photographs

   This Release covers photographs, video, and other images captured on [DATE OR DATE RANGE OF THE SHOOT] at [LOCATION] in connection with [OCCASION OR PROJECT, e.g., the annual fundraising gala, a store interior shoot, a school field day, a real estate listing] (collectively, the "Images"). The Images include still photographs, video footage, audio recorded with the footage, digital files, and any reproduction, crop, still frame, or derivative created from them. This Release applies to Images in which the Grantor, the Grantor's property, or the minor identified in Section 10 appears or is identifiable, whether or not the Grantor was aware of being photographed at the moment of capture.

3. 3. 3. Grant of Permission

   The Grantor grants the Recipient permission to record, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, transmit, and exhibit the Images, in whole or in part, alone or with other material, and to use the Grantor's name, likeness, voice, and [IF APPLICABLE: the appearance of the property described in Section 6] in connection with those uses. This permission is [SELECT — non-exclusive / exclusive] and is granted [SELECT — royalty-free / for the consideration described in Section 8]. The Recipient is not obligated to use the Images, and nothing in this Release requires publication or continued display of any Image.

4. 4. 4. Permitted Uses, Media, Territory, and Term

   The Images may be used for the following purposes: [PERMITTED USES, e.g., the Recipient's website, social media accounts, email newsletters, printed brochures and programs, press releases, annual reports, internal presentations, event recaps, and portfolio or case study material]. Permitted media include [MEDIA, e.g., print, digital, broadcast, and any medium now known or later developed]. The territory is [TERRITORY, e.g., worldwide]. The term of this permission is [TERM, e.g., perpetual / [NUMBER] years from the date of this Release]. 5. 5. 5. Editing, Cropping, and Alteration

   The Recipient may edit, crop, retouch, color correct, resize, caption, superimpose text on, and otherwise adapt the Images for the permitted uses, and may combine them with other images, artwork, audio, or text. The Recipient will not alter an Image in a way that is materially misleading about the Grantor, that places the Grantor in a false light, or that suggests an endorsement the Grantor has not given. The Recipient will not use the Images in connection with content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that depicts the Grantor in a demeaning or disparaging manner. Additional restrictions requested by the Grantor are: [ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS, or "None"].

6. 6. 6. Property and Premises Consent

   IF THE GRANTOR IS A PROPERTY OWNER OR AUTHORIZED MANAGER: The Grantor represents that it owns or controls the property located at [PROPERTY ADDRESS] and has authority to permit photography there. The Grantor grants the Recipient and its crew permission to enter the property on [ACCESS DATES AND TIMES] to capture the Images, and consents to the depiction of the property, its interiors, exteriors, grounds, signage, fixtures, artwork, and any trade dress visible in the Images. The Recipient will leave the property in the condition it was found and is responsible for damage its crew causes beyond ordinary use. This consent does not transfer any right in trademarks or artwork owned by third parties, and the Recipient is responsible for clearing those separately if required.

7. 7. 7. Ownership of the Images

   The Recipient [SELECT — owns / holds a license to use] all Images and the copyright in them, and nothing in this Release transfers any copyright interest to the Grantor. The Grantor is not entitled to inspect, approve, or receive copies of the Images before or after publication, except as expressly provided here: [COPY OR APPROVAL RIGHTS GRANTED, e.g., the Grantor will receive [NUMBER] digital files for personal, non-commercial use, or "None"]. Any files provided to the Grantor may be used for personal purposes only and may not be resold, licensed, or edited in a way that removes attribution or metadata, unless the Parties agree otherwise in writing.

8. 8. 8. Consideration

   The Grantor acknowledges receipt of good and valuable consideration for this Release, consisting of [CONSIDERATION, e.g., the sum of $[AMOUNT]; complimentary admission to the event; digital copies of selected Images; the opportunity to participate; or the mutual promises in this Release]. The Grantor agrees that this consideration is full and complete payment for the rights granted and waives any claim to royalties, residuals, or additional compensation arising from any permitted use of the Images, regardless of the commercial success or reach of the material in which they appear.

9. 9. 9. Waiver of Inspection and Release of Claims

   The Grantor waives any right to inspect or approve the finished Images, any accompanying text or caption, or the context in which they appear. The Grantor releases the Recipient from any claim arising out of the permitted use of the Images, including claims for invasion of privacy, misappropriation of likeness or right of publicity, defamation, false light, emotional distress, and any claim based on blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that occurs during production or reproduction. This release does not extend to uses outside the permissions granted in Section 4 or to the excluded conduct described in Section 5.

10. 10. 10. Minors

    IF THE PERSON APPEARING IN THE IMAGES IS UNDER [AGE OF MAJORITY, e.g., 18]: Minor's name: [MINOR NAME]. Date of birth: [MINOR DOB]. The person signing below represents that they are the parent or legal guardian of the minor with authority to grant this Release, consents to the capture and use of the Images on the terms above, and grants the permissions in this Release on behalf of the minor and themselves. The guardian may withdraw consent for future use as described in Section 11.

11. 11. 11. Revocation and Withdrawal of Consent

    This Release is [SELECT — irrevocable for the term stated in Section 4 / revocable on written notice as described here]. If revocation is permitted, the Grantor may withdraw consent for future use by written notice to [RECIPIENT NOTICE CONTACT AND EMAIL], and the Recipient will stop using the Images in new materials within [REMOVAL PERIOD, e.g., 30 days] and will remove them from its website and social media accounts within the same period where technically feasible. Revocation does not require the Recipient to recall, destroy, or modify printed material already produced and distributed, archived copies, or material already licensed to a third party, and it does not entitle the Grantor to a refund of consideration.

12. 12. 12. Representations and Governing Law

    The Grantor represents that they are at least [AGE OF MAJORITY] years of age, or that a parent or guardian has signed under Section 10; that they have full right and authority to grant this Release; that granting it does not conflict with any agreement, agency, or union obligation; and that they are signing voluntarily after having read and understood it. This Release is governed by the laws of the State of [GOVERNING STATE], without regard to conflict of laws rules, and any action will be brought in the courts located in [VENUE COUNTY AND STATE]. This Release is the entire agreement on its subject, may be modified only in writing signed by both Parties, and binds the Grantor's heirs, successors, and assigns.
